Our inspiration for The Boathouse came from seeing so many friends and family overpaying to reserve a venue for their event. Our goal was to create a waterfront venue that families could comfortably afford while still having a gorgeous setting for their event. So we created The Boathouse on the lakefront of beautiful Nettle Lake!

In our home Sue starts watching Hallmark Christmas in October and it doesn't end until January! Her focus at all times is to make people happy whether it be via their bellies, our vacation rental homes or The Boathouse!
